To Whom who is willing to help me,

I just recently got my ASUS laptop to work again after a year without having a charger (I know I'm an idiot for not getting it sooner). I opened up my Lifeframe and looked at all the old pictures that I had. Usually, I move my picture from Lifeframe over to my regular pictures and it works. Well I moved several pics from Lifeframe to my pictures but once I checked my pictures I noticed they weren't there. In fact I checked every where I could think of, I even typed in the image name but still nothing. Please help me!

It's possible that your photos are in the same place as they were because of failed moving attempt. Check there and then check the Recycle Bin. If the files are in the places I mentioned, then you will have to install and use a recovery application to get them back. Luckily, there is one called Recuva. Download and install the application, launch it and select the Wizard interface, choose the searching partition, file type and enable Deep Scan to improve accuracy. Wait to finish and then browse through the files until you find the ones you need. Right click the files (when found) and select restore to another partition.

The software discussed is officially supported by the same company which produces its notebooks. You should first check your operating system. Then by visiting the support page for your notebook, select the appropriate version of your operating system in the drop-down box, visit the Utilities menu and download the correct version or the most updated one that it is available for your laptop.

I suggest that you should visit the support link and click on Change Your Model and select the one you have and then follow my instructions.

I've been using LifeFrame3 on my Asus laptop for over a year. Recently, I wanted to move pictures to a different folder and did double click on the folder. I wanted to store them and now I cannot find the photos anywhere.

Any suggestions on locating them?

It seems that your photos have been deleted by mistake. Checking Recycle Bin is a good way. If there are no items in the Bin, then try to perform a Search for files operation using F3 while you're on the desktop. From its menu, choose to search the whole hard disk. If you remember some of the folders/pictures name, then the search will greatly increase the results of your search.

One more way of dealing with this problem is to use recovery software which is able to search to deeper levels of your hard drive.

Recover My Files is another great solution to your problem. Although the software is not free, it allows you to save a big number of files. From its main interface, choose where your know the pictures were, then let the software do its job. Upon finish, a list with recoverable files will be presented from which you can choose what to restore (hopefully, your pictures will be there.)

My webcam has stopped working. When I start it says 'no camera device found'.

Answer by Sean Hill

Try uninstalling the application and then installing it again. This should fix it. On the other hand, try to reinstall the drivers associated with the software. Visit Asus Support to identify your laptop model and then download the drivers, install them and reinstall the LifeFrame application.

This error is caused by Microsft default driver for webcam. I suggest you acquire the latest drivers from Asus Drivers and Download web page. Identify your computer model, select your operating system and download and install the files from the Webcam section. Also, you can go to Registry Editor (Start > regedit)> HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Sunplus SPUVCb > VIDEOPROCAMP and to change VFlip value to 1. Another solution can be ManyCam. It is an application developed by ManyCam LLC that allows you to flip and rotate your camera output.

LifeFrame is a utility that comes pre-installed on Asus laptops and there's no information about it. It allows you to add effects, record and save videos using the built-in Asus webcam. You can download this application from the Asus website.

How can I change the view? When I see myself I'm upside down.

P
Answer by Pete Clapp

Unfortunately, you can't change the view, because the software doesn't have such a feature. You can fix the problem, by downloading and installing the latest webcam files for your computer model. Navigate to Asus Download Center, identify your PC model, select your operating system and download and install the latest files. Also, you can use Google search engine to find additional tutorials and guides.
